Proofreading traditionally means reading a proof copy of a text in order to detect and correct any errors.

As a proofreader, I will check the following:

Punctuation

Grammar

General French usage of your document

Style

Construction

Flow

The proofreading service is offered at standard or advanced level, depending on your specific requirements. My standard service will ensure that your spelling, grammar, and punctuation are accurate. My advanced service will also ensure that the style, construction, and flow of your work is consistent and of excellent quality.

I offer proofreading for all your document needs, from essay, dissertation, and thesis proofing to business writing and technical manuals.

I will return your work in two documents, a marked changes format showing the changes that have been made, and a ‘clean’ revised document that incorporates those changes.

Rate: from 0,035 cents per word (Euro)

NOTE:

These rates are negotiable, depending on the volume and frequency of the work provided.

Additional fee may apply for urgent work and weekends. (+ 0,01cts / word and normally apply to Proofreading of more than 3000 words per day OR projects that must be completed within 24 hours of job assignment)

An agreement will be signed between both parties for large projects.

For smaller projects, an information sheet will need to be completed with your contact details, your project details, your deadline, and conditions of payment.

A payment of 50% of the total fee agreed between both parties is to be paid before starting any large project (10000 words and over)
